There are 3 models of what we believe are church leadership; but 2 are not biblical, they’re cultural.
Two that are not biblical:
Storefront model:
- activity that people want or need
- personable
- funnel example
- running the activity is the primary (something is wrong when the church is
looking for the same thing that happens with the storefront model)
Foreman model:
- makes decisions (primary constitution)
The church is not built by these models; yes, you’ll do some of both models, but it is not the focus.
The call to be a leader is something different entirely; kingdom leadership involves a different calling.
