Now he reaches it, and we can't help but wonder what sort of ruler he will turn out to be. This text will begin to answer that question, and along the way we get the remarkable and instructive story of Uzzah’s death.

  • Do you better understand why Uzzah was disciplined? How does this help put the story in a new light?

  • In the past, have you ever disobeyed God for a season and told yourself things would work out fine? How did that go?

  • Are you in such a season right now?
