  • Have you experienced a John 17 – in the world, but not of the world – situation? What was particularly difficult about that? What did you learn?

  • Read Hebrews 6:10-12. What line stands out to you and why?

  • The three encouragements from this Hebrews passage are to: Be diligent in helping others. Be patient in affliction. Believe that God can be trusted. Share one specific way you can engage each of these action steps in the next week.

  • Pray for patient endurance for whatever trial you may be facing presently, or will face in the future. Ask God for the strength to hold to his John 16 promise that he has overcome the world.
