  • Start by remembering what you have been given.

  • Ask for what you need (letting the Bible be your guide)

  • Provision (Mt 6)
  • Forgiveness (Mt 6)
  • Protection (Mt 6)
  • Wisdom (Jas 1)
  • Faith (Mk 9:24; Lk 17:5)
  • Evangelism (Col 4)
  • God (Ps 27; 42; 63)

Three Things to Remember:

  • God typically doesn’t answer our prayers in immediate, obvious ways.

  • As we ask, we must be ready to put answers into practice.

  • We honor God when we ask him for things, because the very act of asking
