What to Ask For (General Rules)
Start by remembering what you have been given.
Ask for what you need (letting the Bible be your guide)
What to Ask For:
- Provision (Mt 6)
- Forgiveness (Mt 6)
- Protection (Mt 6)
- Wisdom (Jas 1)
- Faith (Mk 9:24; Lk 17:5)
- Evangelism (Col 4)
- God (Ps 27; 42; 63)
Three Things to Remember:
God typically doesn’t answer our prayers in immediate, obvious ways.
As we ask, we must be ready to put answers into practice.
We honor God when we ask him for things, because the very act of asking
