Lessons

Doubt is a natural part of the faith journey, often arising when our expectations don’t align with our experiences. It’s not something to fear or hide—everyone wrestles with questions at some point. In Mark’s Gospel, we see this struggle in a father who brings his honest doubts to Jesus, reminding us that faith doesn't always come easy—it sometimes feels like a fight. Yet, it’s in those raw, uncertain moments that we often encounter God most deeply. At the heart of our belief stands the resurrection of Jesus—not just a powerful event, but the very foundation of our faith. Though it’s the most questioned aspect of Christianity, it’s also the most essential. Even history, including the context of ancient Rome, gives us reasons to believe that the resurrection truly happened, strengthening our hope and anchoring our faith even in times of doubt.
