Host Welcome to the Train Station, Jr. Conductors! I’m so glad that you came to visit us. What do I have in my hands?
Co-Host That is a lollipop. What is your favorite flavor of lollipop? The one (Host) is holding is my favorite.
Host You like this color of lollipop? I have two lollipops, but I should only eat one. I want to make sure I’m still hungry for dinner. What do you think I could do with this one?
Co-Host You think that he/she could give it to me?
Host Ok, you can have my lollipop as a gift. That means you don’t need to give me anything in return. I want you to have it.
Co-Host Thank you! Let’s give my friend a big hand for being kind.
Host Today we’re going to learn about someone who is even more kind than (Co-Host) was today. If you’re ready to have an exciting day with Conductor Carl and his friends, shout a big, “Choo-choo!”

Host Jr. Conductors, why did Elmer ask Farmer Faith for money?
Co-Host Farmer Faith thought Elmer was helping because he’s her friend and because he loves to help. Elmer thinks that when you help someone, that person should give you money.
Host Has anyone ever given you money before? Money can come in different shapes and sizes. Let’s look at some different kinds of money.
Explain what the different kinds of money are on the screen.
Co-Host Did you know that the grownups at your house use money to buy things like food, toys, and even your house?
Host That’s true. I’m going to show you some different items, and you guess if it costs a lot of money or a little. It’s okay if you guess the wrong answer because we are learning.
Show the different items such as Soap, Sunglasses, Jewelry, Phone, Instrument It’s not important if the kids guess correctly because you can explain why the item costs a little or a lot.
Co-Host I know something that we have that is extra, extra special: God’s love. It is so good that it must cost a lot of money.
Host Sometimes, when something is extra special, it does cost a lot of money, but it’s not that way with God’s love. God wants everyone to have His love, so He gives it away.
Co-Host Wow! It’s so awesome that we don’t have to pay for God’s love. He is so kind and generous to give away His love to us. Let’s practice the Big Point together!
Co-Host God’s Love Is Free!

Host I’m glad that Conductor Carl helped Farmer Faith learn our Big Point. Let’s stand and say the Big Point again,
Host God’s Love Is Free!
Co-Host Conductor Carl shared an important verse from the Bible with her.
Co-Host John 3:16 (NIrV) says, “God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son.” God gave us Jesus. That’s how much He loves us.
Host Jesus shares His love with everyone. Look at this can of shaving cream. Does it look about the same size as this cup, or is it bigger? Let’s see how many cups we can fill up with this can of shaving cream. I’ll have a friend come up here and help me. You count the cups we fill.
Choose a child to help. Test a similar can before service to see how many cups can be filled. It’s not necessary to fill the entire cup. Just fill the cup from bottom to top.
Co-Host It keeps going and going. Wow!
Host God’s love keeps going and going, too. There’s enough love for everyone and it never runs out.
Co-Host The best part is that God gives His love to us for free.
Host I love getting something special for free. I think we should stand and thank Jesus for His love with a song.
Let’s share our love with other people in this room by praying for them. We’re all going to take a moment to pray for someone nearby. You can ask Jesus to help them and to feel His love. Close your eyes and pray quietly for a friend. (Pause) Now I’ll pray for you.

Host Do you think Elmer made a wise choice by inviting Farmer Faith and Engineer Kelly for milkshakes? I think he understands our Big Point, God’s Love Is Free!
Co-Host Conductor Carl gave us a fun “Big Do.”
Co-Host He said we should do something kind for someone else but keep it a secret. Everyone, look around and say, “Shh! It’s a secret.”
Host God shared His love with us for free, so we can share our love with others for free, too. Let’s practice sharing our love by going home and doing the Big Do. Stand up.
(Have the kids perform various actions like cleaning up a room, folding clothes, sneaking someone a snack, drawing a picture, etc.)
Co-Host It’s fun to share our love. I’m sure you will think of lots more ideas. God helps us to share His love, and we have a lot of love to share.
Host Let’s spread our arms out wide! You have a lot of love to give. Let’s say the Big Point one more time,
Host God’s Love Is Free!
Let’s Practice our Big Point again. Hmm, did our Big Point say God’s Love Is Free or God’s Love Costs a Lot of Money?
Let’s stand and pretend to work in a garden. Let’s use our rake to break up the dirt. Use a shovel to dig a hole. What kind of seeds should we plant? Who helped Farmer Faith plant things in her garden? Elmer Did Elmer help for free or did he want her to give him money? Give him money
Can you tell me what a donkey sounds like? Hee Haw! Let’s pretend to ride a donkey on a bumpy, dirt road. (Pretend to ride) Who was riding on a donkey when a bright light appeared? Saul Was Saul nice to Jesus’ friends or mean to them? Mean
Let’s close our eyes and pretend that we can’t see. Did Jesus send someone to help Saul when he couldn’t see? Yes Did Saul learn that Jesus loved him? Yes What are some ways God shows us His love? He helps us, provides for us, hears our prayers
Let’s pretend to sip on a really thick milkshake. What flavor is your milkshake? Who decided to share a milkshake with Farmer Faith? Elmer What is something you could share or do to show someone God’s love? A smile, a hug, write a card, sing a song
Everyone hold up one finger. What does our Big Verse say? John 3:16 (NIrV), “God so loved the world that He ____ His one and only Son.” a. Gave
b. Didn’t give
