About

This one-year series, perfect for 4th-7th graders, is designed to engage families with fun games, exciting challenges, and Bible stories that teach about the love of Jesus.

Small Group Instructions

Section 01

Objective: To inspire students to understand the importance of kindness through interactive games, stories, and scripture from the Bible.

Start by discussing the importance of kindness and its impact on others. Share a real-life story or anecdote that illustrates the power of kindness.

Discuss each verse's meaning and relevance to daily life. Encourage students to share their thoughts and experiences related to kindness.

How can you apply these verses in their interactions with others?

Explain the "Kindness Challenge" game. Each student will receive a sticky note with a kind act written on it. The goal is to complete the act of kindness during the week and report back with their experiences. Give examples of kindness challenges, such as complimenting a classmate, helping a family member with a chore, or writing an encouraging note to a friend. Ask students to pick a challenge or create their own. They should write it on a sticky note and stick it to their notebook or somewhere visible as a reminder.

Kindness is a choice. Let’s pray to that we will have more opportunities to show kindness and share about God’s love in the next week.
