Small Group Instructions
Ice breaker:
What is your favorite Toy Story character? Why?
How many languages can you speak?
How many can we list as a group?
Who have you shared Jesus with lately?
Have you ever led someone to know Jesus?
If we really believe in Heaven and Hell and that Jesus came to earth to die for our sins, why wouldn’t we share that with everyone we know.
Challenge everyone in the class to start praying for one person they can share Jesus with. This is a daily prayer but pick out just one person that they know doesn’t know the good news of Christ and pray that God opens the door to share the gospel with them. When we pray for a person to share Jesus with, we know that God will open a door for us to do it, so we need to be prepared. Let’s review the 3 circles so that you can feel confident in a simple way to do just that. Remember, you don’t have to have all the answers, you are just planting a seed that God will grow!
Everyone grab a partner and practice!
As a leader, we would encourage you to read “Pray for One” by Bo Chancey. It is a great book about the power of praying for one person to share the gospel with and it may be a good book to work through with your class.
