3. Read Numbers 24:15-19. While this text doesn’t mention the donkey, it is a development of the Judah prophecy in Genesis 49. What aspects of Genesis 49 are found in Numbers 24:17?

4. How does it seem like Zechariah is transforming the Judah prophecy of Genesis 49 in Zechariah 9:9-13?

5. Read Matthew 21:1-11. How does Jesus fulfill the prophecy about the donkey?

6. What significance is there to Jesus being the powerful but humble ruler descended from Judah?

 - Do you believe that Jesus is the true king prophesied from the Old Testament? If so, how does it change your life?
