Going Home

This first session is an introduction to the book of Ezra. We define home and get our arms around with the phrase "names and numbers". We also talk about Ezra, the person and her actions.

Session 2

When Pagans Help God's People Go Home

The Babylonians have been defeated by the Persians, and in fulfillment of Jeremiah’s prophecy, it is time for God’s people to go home—back to the land of Israel. God will use a pagan king to accomplish this task. This session covers the Proclamation for Going Home (Ezra 1) and The People Who Are Going Home (Ezra 2).

When Rebuilding Home TS

In this session, we talk about how Israel started rebuilding their home after the Babylonians have been defeated by the Persians.

Starting Over At Home

In session 4, we discuss how the people of God get a “do-over.”
